Yes, it is.

For women undergoing chemotherapy, hair loss is often one of the hardest moments. Watching your hair fall out, or leaving it behind in the bin at the hairdresser's, can be deeply upsetting. That is why we offer you the option of having your hair cut in time and turned into a soft, comfortable and natural wig. With your own hair you often immediately look like yourself again.

We carefully turn your cut hair into a wig that truly suits you. The result is a personal, natural wig that is not only beautiful to wear but can also mean a lot emotionally. Seeing your own hair again can bring comfort and help you feel stronger and more yourself during a difficult period.

If there is not enough of your own hair, we blend it with our carefully selected European hair, mostly from Belgium, matched as closely as possible to your own hair in colour, texture and feel. This keeps the wig as recognisable and personal as possible.

For these special and often urgent situations, we do our utmost to have your wig ready within one to two weeks.

Until your wig is ready, we can lend you a headband if you wish, so you feel comfortable and well cared for in the meantime.

The right moment and the right way of cutting are important for making a wig from your own hair. We fully understand that this is not an easy step. So don't see it as saying goodbye to your hair, but as safeguarding something that is yours. You entrust us with your hair, and we make sure it takes on a new form that can support you and give you strength.

We advise having your hair cut before your first chemotherapy session, or at the latest one week after the first treatment. Once the hair has started falling out heavily, it becomes much harder to make a beautiful, long-lasting wig from it.

Cutting your hair is a special and often emotional moment. You don't have to do this alone. It can be nice to share it with a family member or a good friend. You can go to your own hairdresser, but you are always welcome to have it done with us, calmly and with personal guidance.
